Terms of use

Last updated: 27 August 2026

These are the terms for using Rekord. They are meant to be read, so they are short.

What Rekord is

A training log with a social half. You record what you lift; you can choose to share sessions, follow people, enter challenges, and plan sessions with others.

Rekord is operated by Harald Eskeland, Norway. Contact: hello@konturdesign.no.

Your account

You need an account to use Rekord. You must be at least 13.

Keep your sign-in details to yourself — anything done from your account is treated as done by you. Tell us at once if you think somebody else has got in.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. That removes your training, your posts and your photographs permanently.

What you put in

Your training, your photographs and your words stay yours. We do not claim ownership of any of it.

By sharing something you allow us to store it and show it to the people you chose to show it to — which is what sharing means and nothing more. We will not use your training or your photographs in advertising.

Do not post anything you do not have the right to post, anything unlawful, or anything abusive. We may remove content or close an account that does, and we will say why.

What Rekord is not

Rekord is not medical advice, and it is not a coach who can see you.

It suggests weights and rep ranges from what you have already lifted. It knows nothing about your injuries, your sleep, your health, or your technique. Every suggestion is yours to overrule and every weight can be changed with one tap.

Talk to a doctor before starting a new programme if you have any reason to. Stop if something hurts in a way that is not effort. You train at your own risk.

Other people

Sessions you plan with other people are arrangements between you and them. Rekord shows the plan; it does not vouch for anybody, verify who they are, or take part in what happens at the gym. Use ordinary judgement about meeting people you do not know.

When things break

Rekord is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we do not promise it will never be unavailable or never lose anything, and you should not rely on it as your only copy — Settings → Export my data exists for that reason.

Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

If you are a consumer in the EEA, you keep every right your local law gives you, and nothing here takes those away.

Rekord Pro

Most of Rekord is free and stays free. Rekord Pro is an optional subscription. What it adds, the price and the billing period are all shown in the app on the screen where you buy it, before you pay anything.

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple. Payment is taken from your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.

A subscription renews automatically for the same period, at the same price, unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You manage and cancel it on your device under Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions. We cannot cancel it for you, and deleting the app does not cancel it.

Where a free trial is offered, it runs for the period stated at purchase and becomes a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel first. Buying a subscription while a trial is running ends the remainder of that trial. A trial is offered once.

If we change the price, Apple will tell you and ask you to agree before the new price is charged.

Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policy rather than by us — reportaproblem.apple.com is the place to ask. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by any of this.

Changes

We may change these terms. If a change matters to you, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.

Which law

Norwegian law applies, and the courts of Norway have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may also bring a claim in the country you live in.
